Step 02.20 — Threadlock the 80T pulley set screws and check your work¶

Do: Two set screws per 80T pulley. Set the 80T pulley so a set screw meets the shaft's flat, fit both set screws with threadlocker, and tighten. Build all four stacks.
Check
Four complete shaft assemblies, all matching the graphic, none able to slip when you twist the 80T pulley against the shaft by hand.
What you're looking at
Manual p.33: the 80T pulley's two set screws. This is the joint the entire weight of the gantry hangs on through the belt, and loose set screws are the most-reported failure on this machine, so both get threadlocker and one lands on the flat.
