Step 04.27 — A drive: three M3×30 SHCS through the frames into the motor

Parts:

  • 3× M3×30 SHCS · Fasteners, Tools & Misc box

Do:

  1. Line the motor's mounting holes up with the three clearance holes around the bore.
  2. Start all three M3×30 SHCS by hand down through both frames into the motor.
  3. Tighten evenly so the motor face pulls down square.

Three bolts, not four; the fourth motor hole is not used. All three pulled down evenly, motor face flat against the frame.

What you're looking at

Manual p.76: three M3×30 running down through both printed frames into the motor's face. Three, not four: the fourth motor hole has no clearance hole above it.
