Step 05.8 — Slide the B drive onto the other end¶

Do: Push the B drive onto the free end of the E extrusion, motor down, flush to the end face. The motor cable exits must point towards each other. If they point apart, the drives are swapped end for end.
Check
Both motor cable exits face inboard, both printed parts flush.
What you're looking at
The B drive is the left-hand counterpart, not an identical copy: its motor pulley sits at 6.5 mm where the A drive's sits at 16.5 mm, which puts the two belts in separate planes so they can cross without touching.
