Step 06.19 — Take the belt up and over the Z idler¶

Parts:
- the same Z belt · already on the bench
Do: Run the belt up the far run to the top of the upright, over the Z idler pulley, and back down the rail side toward the Z joint. Teeth stay on the inside of the loop.
Check
The belt sits centred in the idler's groove between its flanges, and both runs are vertical and clear of the extrusion.
What you're looking at
The same belt continues up the run further from the rail, over the Z idler, and back down on the rail side toward the joint, closing the loop. The idler's flanges are all that keep the belt on it.
