Step 06b.13 — Reinstall the lower Z joints, lightly¶
Step 39 of 42 · Chapter 06 — Z axis (and Chapter 06b — Gantry squaring)
Parts:
- the four Z-joint M5×40 SHCS · already on the bench
Do: Slide the four lower joints back up and run one M5×40 into each. Lightly only: the joint must still articulate freely. Voron step 11.
Check
All four in. Each joint still articulates when you push the gantry corner sideways.
What you're looking at
The four M5×40 go back in, light again. Light because the de-racking and the QGL runs that follow both need the joints free to articulate; they get their only full tighten hot, at Ch 14.
