Step 07.22 — B belt: run forward, turn smooth at the right XY joint and return to the carriage¶

Parts:
- the B belt · already on the bench
Do:
- Run the belt forward along the right Y to the right XY joint.
- Wrap it 90° round the joint's lower, plain stack, smooth back and under A's toothed idler, then left to the carriage. Leave the tail loose.
Check
B's smooth back on the lower plain stack, A on the toothed idler above with a visible gap. Both belts are now closed paths.
What you're looking at
The right XY joint closes the B loop. Here the belt meets the joint's lower, plain F695 stack, smooth back on the bearings, with A's toothed idler directly above it. The mirror of the left joint, one plane down.
