Step 14.10 — Fetch the cube you already printed in Ch 13¶
Step 10 of 36 with a helper · Chapter 14 — Calibration and tuning
(no image — see text)
Gather for this segment — steps 14.10–14.11 (~15 min)
Tools and consumables
- digital caliper
Already on the bench
- the Voron-printed cube
- the Prusa-printed B00 reference cube
- both cubes
Parts:
- the Voron-printed cube · already on the bench
- the Prusa-printed B00 reference cube · already on the bench
Do: Put both cubes on the bench. The cube is printed once, in Ch 13, and Step 13.41 is authoritative for it. Re-print only if you have changed a slicer setting since, and then re-run 13.41–13.42 as written.
Check
Two cubes in front of you, both Voron_Design_Cube_v7, both in Prusament ASA Galaxy Black.
Helper Fetches the Prusa B00 cube from its bin and sets both cubes side by side.
What you're looking at
Two cubes of the same file in the same filament: one printed on the Prusa in batch B00, one on the Voron in Ch 13. Nothing is printed here; the pair goes on the bench so the next step can measure them.
Caution
The purge line you just added to PRINT_START governs the next print; it does not invalidate this cube.
Tip
13.41 sliced it at 260 °C / 110 °C with XY size and shrinkage compensation both zero, the same overrides the Prusa profile used.
