Parts: none.
Do: Learn these, and note that the manual calls out a shim at every M5 location.
Check
You can tell the flanged 13 mm F695 from the plain 16 mm 625-2RS on sight; both are 5 mm bore.
What you're looking at
Manual p.8, the second half: bearings, spacers, pulleys and set screws. F695 and 625-2RS are both 5 mm-bore ball bearings with different jobs: F695 is flanged and lives in the A/B drives, 625-2RS is plain and lives in the Z drives.
| Part | Spec |
|---|---|
| F695 flanged bearing | 5×13×4 mm — A/B drives, front idlers, XY joints; 20 in the kit |
| 625-2RS bearing | 5×16×5 mm — Z drives only; 12 in the kit |
| shim | DIN 988 |
| washer | DIN 125, M3 only |
| pulley, idler | GT2 |
| set screw | grub screw |
| thumb nut | bed spacer |
Caution
Rev D+ / LDO: wherever this manual or the official one says M5 shim, your kit gives you a brass M5 1 mm precision spacer instead — 46 of them, and they replace the shim everywhere unless a step says otherwise. p.104 is the exception: use the black M5 washer there, which is cosmetic. src
Tip
the 16T and 20T GT2 pulleys look nearly identical: 16T goes on the Z motors, 20T everywhere else. Bag them separately during Ch 02 prep.
