Step 02.13 — Drop the deck panel in, notch to the back

Parts:

  • deck panel ×1 · Panel Kit box (carton 2)

Do:

  1. Peel any protective film.
  2. Lower the panel into the bottom frame's opening, cut-out notch toward the back, flat on both bed extrusions.
  3. Line the four bolt holes up over the four T-nuts.

Notch at the back. Panel inside the frame opening, flat on both bed extrusions, sunk 16–17 mm below the rails' upward faces, no rock.

helperHelper Holds the far edge of the deck panel level as it lowers into the frame.

What you're looking at

Manual p.28: the deck panel dropping onto the bed extrusions. Cut 469 mm, 1 mm under the frame's opening, it sits inside the frame on them. The round hole passes the bed cables, the notch the Z-chain bundle.
