Do:
- Start with an
_aretainer: inserts down, cradles up. - Lower the shaft assembly so each 625 drops into a cradle, the loop in the pocket.
- If one will not seat by hand, do not heat or hammer.
Check
All three bearings down in their cradles, the shaft parallel to the retainer's flat face, and the belt loop lying in the pocket.
What you're looking at
Manual p.35: the shaft assembly lowering into z_drive_retainer, the shallow tray half of the housing, 16 mm deep, with six brass inserts in its flat outer face. Its three half-round cradles take the 625 bearings; the deeper z_drive_main clamps them from the other side.
