Step 05.21 — Fit the second front idler

Parts:

  • B idler assembly · already on the bench
  • [a]_z_belt_clip_upper_x4 ×1 (blue) · bin 05-XY
  • M5×16 BHCS ×2 · Fasteners, Tools & Misc box

Do: Same on the second Y assembly with the B idler: FRONT LEFT, the short 11.6 mm lower frame. Push flush, lay an upper clip on top, indent down, then two M5×16 BHCS through both, snug.

Both Y assemblies have an idler and clip at the front, both flush, both clip notches pointing away from the idler assembly.

What you're looking at

The other front corner, with the opposite-hand idler and its own upper clip. After this the two Y assemblies are complete as sides of the machine: rail, backer, idler and clip on each.
