Step 05.22 — Offer both Y axes to the drive units¶

Parts:
- both Y assemblies · already on the bench
- the bridge and drives assembly · already on the bench
Do: Bring each C extrusion into its drive frame: the A idler axis into the A drive, the B-idler axis into the B drive. Push each until the printed frame is flush with the extrusion end, on a flat bench.
Check
A U-shaped gantry: A idler with A drive on one beam, B with B, both rails and both backers facing the same way.
What you're looking at
Now the two sides meet the rear beam. The A drive takes the right-hand side and the B drive the left, so the Ch 04 belt planes reach the corners those belts run to. The result is a U, open at the front.
