Step 05.27 — Close the right XY joint¶

Do: Bring the joint body down over the bearing stack so the M5×40's thread enters the nut pocket you loaded at Step 05.25. The two halves must meet with no gap and no bearing pinched between them.
Check
Halves closed flat, bolt engaged in its nut, bearing stack still turning by finger.
What you're looking at
The lower body comes down over the bearing stack and the M5×40's thread picks up one of its seated M5 nuts. The two halves must close plastic-to-plastic with no gap; a bearing pinched between them drags on the belt until Ch 07 finds it.
