Do: SET_STEPPER_ENABLE STEPPER=stepper_x ENABLE=0 then SET_STEPPER_ENABLE STEPPER=stepper_y ENABLE=0. Only these two. The Z motors stay enabled: they are holding the gantry. Voron step 4.
Check
The X carriage now moves freely by hand; the gantry does not sink.
What you're looking at
Disabling only the two CoreXY motors lets you push the X extrusion around by hand. The Z motors stay energised because they, and nothing else, are holding the gantry off the bed.
