Step 08.14 — Seat the second MR85 in the main body and lock it¶

Parts:
- the CW2 main body with its inserts · already on the bench
- MR85 bearing ×1 · Motion box
- M3×6 FHCS ×1 · Fasteners, Tools & Misc box
- medium-strength threadlocker · consumable
Do: Press the second MR85 into the main-body pocket, outer ring only. Then put a small drop of medium-strength threadlocker on the M3×6 FHCS and drive it into the insert above the gears, as p.20 shows.
Check
Bearing flush and free; the flat head sits level in its countersink.
What you're looking at
The second MR85, this time in the main body, plus one countersunk screw above the gears. That screw is the anti-squish stop from SB p.27, threaded into a heat-set insert. Threadlocker keeps vibration from walking it out.
