Parts: none.

Do: The probe was seated in probe_retainer_bracket and set in Ch 07 Steps 07.34–07.37, its lead left whole. Confirm the two M3×30 SHCS are tight, the tape intact, and the lead plugged into PROBE at 08.50.

check Check

The probe does not move under finger pressure, sits 6 mm ±1 mm below the plastic, is taped front and sides only, lead captive.

helperHelper Reads the caliper aloud from the probe tip to the plastic; about 6 mm passes.

What you're looking at

A confirmation pass over Ch 07's work rather than new assembly. The thing most worth re-checking is the tape: over-taping, especially near the bottom sensing face, is the usual reason an inductive probe will not trigger in Ch 13.

Caution

Rev D+ / LDO: if the tape is torn, re-wrap front and sides only — never the back or the bottom sensing face. Over-taping is the usual cause of a probe that will not trigger in Ch 13; remove a strip at a time before you suspect the board. src
