Parts:

  • stealthburner_printhead_revo_voron_rear_cw2 ×1 · bin 08-SB
  • heat-set inserts M3×5×4 ×2 · Fasteners, Tools & Misc box

Do: SB p.38 highlights four holes on the face it shows. Fit only the upper two, just below the top edge, pressing in sideways, not down through the top face. The circled pair is the ADXL mount: leave it empty.

Check

Two inserts in the upper holes of that face; the top face and the circled pair are bare plastic. Count: 2 (verify on bench).

What you're looking at

The rear printhead half is the back of the tool cartridge, where the hotend sits. Two of the four holes SB p.38 highlights mount an ADXL345 accelerometer; the Nitehawk-SB V2 has one on board, so those two stay bare.

Caution

Rev D+ / LDO: the Nitehawk-SB V2 carries an ADXL345 on board with [resonance_tester] accel_per_hz: 100 already configured. There is no toolhead accelerometer to mount, now or later. src
