Do: Slide the IDGA set's idler gear, shaft and bearing sleeve together. Wipe a thin film of Super Lube 21030 onto the bearing surfaces (verify on bench). Toothed face towards the filament path.
Check
The idler spins freely with no gritty feel and no axial slop.
What you're looking at
A Bondtech dual-drive extruder grips filament between two geared wheels, not one wheel and a plain bearing. This is the second: the BMG idler gear, running on a bearing sleeve on its own shaft, toothed face towards the filament.
