Step 10.14 — Bed Live → SSR LOAD 1¶
Step 14 of 80 · Chapter 10 — Wiring and Checkpoint #1
Parts:
- the Bed L extension lead · already on the bench
Do: Run the Bed L extension from the bed WAGO breakout down through the round deck hole into the 34 mm run, round both curves, through the wire box, port stub and SSR run to terminal LOAD 1. PH2, tight.
Check
Terminal 1 = bed, terminal 2 = mains Live, LDO's convention from the photo. The lead lies slack in the conduit.
What you're looking at
Terminal 1 is the relay's output, live only while the SSR is switched on. Landing the bed's Live lead here is what makes the heater controllable instead of permanently connected to the mains.
Layout v3
this route is about 47 mm longer than LDO's; check spare against LDO's route during this fit (verify on bench). Never stretch a mains lead — if short, make a longer Bed L lead, same gauge and connector (verify on bench). LDO layout: hole, then LDO's rear PVC duct, to LOAD 1. LDO § Connecting build plate
