Parts:
- M3×5×4 heat-set insert ×11 · Fasteners, Tools & Misc box
Do: Press an insert into every boss the page highlights: three in each front skirt and the keystone panel, one in each fan support's top rail. Part flat, insert square, same tip temperature as before.
Check
Every insert flush or just below, none proud, no bulge on the show face. An M3×8 SHCS turns in freely by hand.
What you're looking at
Heat-set inserts are brass M3×5×4 sleeves melted into a printed boss to give it a real metal thread. Both front skirts and the keystone panel take three each; each fan support takes one.
Tip
iron hot, do the rest: fans and retainers ×16 at 11.3, TFT mount ×2 at 11.5, Nevermore ×6 at 11.28, latch ×1 at 11.49, exhaust cover ×2 at 11.54. src
