Step 11.36 — Glue the cartridge magnets to match¶

- 6×3 mm neodymium magnet ×4 · Fasteners, Tools & Misc box
- super glue · consumable
- a marker · tool
Do: Stick each magnet to the assembled plenum, mark the exposed face, and keep that orientation. Then glue them into the cartridge pockets one at a time, marked face out.
Check
Cartridge offers up to the plenum and snaps home; it holds against a firm shake; all four magnets flush.
Helper Marks the exposed face of each magnet while it sits on the plenum.
What you're looking at
This is the matching half of 11.34, and the reason for the marker: a magnet's polarity is invisible once it is glued in. Stick each one to the finished plenum first, mark the exposed face, and glue it that way round.
