Do:
- Start an M5×16 BHCS halfway into each tapped end.
- Fit both 530 mm pieces to one tapped piece through their access holes; square each corner.
- Three sides only, slide the acrylic in, then close the fourth.
Check
All four corners square, the acrylic fully home with no bow, no twist on a flat surface, and the hinge side written down.
Helper Holds the machinist square in each corner while you tighten it.
What you're looking at
Clicky-Clack is the magnetic-latch front door: a 2020 aluminium frame around one clear acrylic panel. The two shorter extrusions have tapped ends; the longer two have access holes for the blind-joint screws.
Caution
You are using the plain acrylic panel from Fabreeko, not the NanoNest stack the KB3D guide illustrates. Skip the KB3D guide's NanoNest taping section entirely; the panel goes straight into the frame slot. src
Tip
hinges go on the left seen from the front, latch on the right. Mirror every left and right in 11.57 and 11.62–11.64 to reverse the swing.
