Do:
- Set the Bed target to 60; the bay fan pair starts within a second.
- Set the bed back to Off; the pair keeps running about 30 s, then stops.
- Send
SET_FAN_SPEED FAN=nevermore SPEED=1, confirm it runs, thenSET_FAN_SPEED FAN=nevermore SPEED=0.
Check
The bay fan pair starts the instant a bed target is set and runs on 30 s after Off; the Nevermore runs only when commanded.
What you're looking at
Two fans that are not on the toolhead: the 6020 pair in the electronics bay, tied to the bed heater being commanded and to any enabled stepper, and the Nevermore blower, which Ch 12 made a macro-commandable fan rather than a heater-slaved one.
Caution
Rev D+ / LDO: the LDO config names FAN3/PF9 [heater_fan exhaust_fan], but that port drives the Nevermore filter fan; the kit has no exhaust fan. Ch 12 Step 12.32 replaced it with [fan_generic nevermore], so there is no heater_temp: 60 trigger and nothing happens at bed 60 °C. (survey §3.2, §4.2 p.250–253)
Tip
[controller_fan controller_fan] on FAN2/PF7 keys on the heater's non-zero target or on any enabled stepper, not on temperature, and runs on for idle_timeout, 30 s by default. The Nevermore is FAN3/PF9.
