Do:
- Count the panels against the BOM.
- Peel back one corner of the deck film and caliper it at three points along one edge.
- Write the number on tape stuck to the film, re-cover it, leave others filmed.
Check
Eight panels present, no cracks, no chips at the corners. You now have one number written down: the deck thickness.
Helper Counts the eight panels against the BOM and writes the deck thickness on the tape.
What you're looking at
The eight flat panels and the plate. The deck panel is the acrylic floor of the chamber: it sits on the bed extrusions and separates the electronics bay below from the print chamber above. Its thickness decides which support clip you fit in Ch 02.
Caution
Rev D+ / LDO: LDO's Build Notes p.29–30 and Printed Parts Guide say 4 mm; LDO's own Rev D BOM says 3 mm. B01-P2 printed deck_support_3mm_x8 months ago. If the caliper reads 4 mm, follow the B01 deck note: print deck_support_4mm_x8 (8 g, 30 min) before Ch 02. src
