Step 01.17 — Load four M5 T-nuts into the bottom rails

  • M5 roll-in T-nut ×4 · Fasteners, Tools & Misc box

Do: Roll two M5 T-nuts into the top channel of the front bottom rail and two into the rear, one per bed-extrusion end. Leave them loose, roughly where the brackets will land.

All four T-nuts rotate freely and sit flat. If one is tight, swap it or use the other channel face.

What you're looking at

Manual p.19 shows four M5 roll-in T-nuts dropped into the top slots of the two bottom rails. Each is the thread a bracket bolt picks up, loaded now and slid into position later.
