Step 05.43 — Bolt the XY joints to the Y carriages¶

- M3×16 SHCS ×6 · Fasteners, Tools & Misc box
Do: The left joint takes all four M3×16 SHCS. The right joint takes two only: "2X BOLT ONLY: the remaining bolts will be installed during the end-stop installation." Take all six to snug.
Check
4 on one joint, 2 on the other, no M3×16 left over. The two empty holes take the pod's M3×30 in Ch 09.
What you're looking at
M3×16 down through each XY joint into the threaded holes in the Y carriage below it. The right joint gets only two: the XY endstop pod fitted at wiring shares its other two holes. The pod's own bolts are M3×30.
