Parts:
- LDO-36STH20-1004AHG(VRN) NEMA14 pancake stepper ×1 · Motor Kit box
- M3×30 SHCS ×1 · Fasteners, Tools & Misc box
Do: Present the stepper to the motor plate, pinion entering the 50T gear chamber, cable exiting where the CW2 body routes it. Start the M3×30 SHCS in the upper mounting position and leave it loose.
Check
The motor sits flat against the plate with the pinion engaged, not bottomed.
What you're looking at
The pancake stepper is a slim NEMA14 motor; its pinion drives the 50 T gear, and that reduction is what gives the extruder its pushing force. Both its bolts stay loose to start with, because the motor's position in its slots is the gear-mesh adjustment.
