Step 08.38 — Insert the LED diffusers and push them forward¶
Step 38 of 65 · Chapter 08 — Toolhead: Stealthburner, Clockwork 2, Revo HF, Nitehawk-SB V2
Parts:
- the logo LED stack, mask with diffuser and the LED carrier · already on the bench
Do: Drop the mask-and-diffuser into the top slot and push it towards the front until it fills the front window, p.49. Drop the carrier with the LED in behind it, p.50.
Check
Diffuser faces sit flush with the front of the body; no gap behind them.
What you're looking at
The diffusers are the translucent panels you stacked at 08.35: the mask-and-diffuser sandwich and the LED carrier, which the SB manual feeds into the body in two pieces. Pushed fully forward they sit flush with the front; left back, they leave a shadow line.
