Parts:

  • the Stealthburner body with LEDs, fans and fan adapter · already on the bench
  • M3×25 SHCS ×2 · Fasteners, Tools & Misc box
  • M3×50 SHCS ×2 · Fasteners, Tools & Misc box

Do:

  1. Close the blue body onto the front of the toolhead, mating the fan adapter's header with the toolboard's. Keyed: resistance means backwards.
  2. Fit two M3×25 SHCS upper, two M3×50 SHCS through the bottom lobes, below the hotend fan.

check Check

No gap along the body-to-cartridge parting line, all four bolts snug, and the header fully seated.

What you're looking at

The last act: the blue body closes onto the toolhead and the fan adapter's header mates with the toolboard's. That header is keyed and its gender was reversed from V1, so resistance means it is backwards, never that it needs more force.

Caution

Rev D+ / LDO: LDO's Rev D guide calls it a "2×4 header". On the V2 board it is 10-pin, 2×5, and both the gender and the keying changed from V1. Toolboard row order: tacho / tacho, the two fan drives, RGB (PD3) and 5 V, GND and NC, NC and 24 V. See Step 08.46 for the fan-pin conflict. src
