Step 10.39 — Chamber thermistor, if your batch includes one¶
Step 39 of 80 · Chapter 10 — Wiring and Checkpoint #1

Parts:
- the chamber thermistor, if your batch has one · already on the bench
Do: Nothing on the Leviathan: the chamber thermistor lands on the toolboard's CT port, a Ch 08 step. If yours is still loose, dress its tip into free chamber air, away from the hotend and out of the toolhead's travel.
Check
Your batch BOM says whether the part is in the kit. The Klipper config's [temperature_sensor chamber_temp] reads nhk:PB2, i.e. the toolboard, not the mainboard.
What you're looking at
The chamber thermistor is a small temperature sensor left hanging in free air inside the enclosure, reporting how hot the chamber has become. On a Rev D+ machine it belongs on the toolboard's CT port, not on any of the Leviathan's four thermistor inputs.
Caution
Rev D+ / LDO: the Leviathan has four thermistor inputs and it is tempting to put the chamber sensor on one of them. Do not — leviathan-printer-rev-d-sbv2.cfg expects it on the toolboard, anchored by the zip-tie loop on the CW2 cable cover. src
Good stopping point · ~35 min since the last one
eight COB mounts built, both strips mounted and plugged into the junction PCB on its spacer, LED lead routed and every occupied extrusion slot covered. Do not leave a slot open: Ch 11's top panel and Z-belt covers close this route for good.
