Do: Nothing. LDO's "Finish Line" covers the ducts; do not. DC lids stay off until Checkpoint 10 passes and Ch 13 has run everything once. The AC lids close at 10.80, after the strip fin.
Check
Every DC run is open and every terminal is reachable with a meter probe.
What you're looking at
Duct covers are the snap-on lids for the conduits from step 10.68. The DC lids are the last thing to fit: the bay has to stay reachable with a meter probe until Ch 13 has driven every motor, heater and fan once.
Survey §5.2 W8: closing the bay before the checkpoint costs an hour to re-open and tempts you to skip the meter entirely.
