Parts:

  • back panel, acrylic, black, 483×503×3 mm ×1 · Panel Kit box (carton 2)
  • M5 roll-in T-nut ×2 · Fasteners, Tools & Misc box
  • M5×10 BHCS ×2 · Fasteners, Tools & Misc box
  • the back-panel clips, exhaust cover and grill · already on the bench
  • the reverse-bowden PTFE · already on the bench

Do:

  1. Roll two M5 T-nuts into the top rear extrusion's back slot, one per cover tab.
  2. Hang the panel; clips tight, opposite corners first; one M5×10 BHCS per tab.
  3. Re-route the PTFE in through the cover's coupler.

check Check

Panel square and flat, foam compressed but not squashed, both tabs tight on the extrusion, and the PTFE sliding through the coupler without a kink.

helperHelper Holds the panel square in the clips while you tighten opposite corners.

What you're looking at

Everything from 11.52 to 11.54 goes on as one assembly; the cover's two tabs bolt into the top rear extrusion's back slot, where p.255 puts the mounts. Opposite corners first keeps the acrylic flat. The PTFE then loops into the cover's coupler, as on p.258.

pause Good stopping point · ~25 min since the last one

back panel foam-taped, its seven clips on, exhaust cover and grill sealed into the cut-out, panel hung and screwed down, cover tabs bolted, the PTFE through the cover's coupler. A panel is either fully clipped or off the machine — never leave one hanging on half its clips.
