The Clockwork 2 gears turn back and forth. Direction is not tested here; it is tested when you first extrude, at Step 13.40.
Helper Watches the Clockwork 2 gears and says whether they turned both ways.
What you're looking at
The extruder motor lives on the toolhead and drives the Clockwork 2's pair of geared wheels that grip the filament. With no filament loaded, all you are looking for is those gears turning back and forth.
Tip
if nothing moves, check [extruder] step_pin: nhk:PB8 / dir_pin: nhk:PB9 / enable_pin: !nhk:PC14. Those are the V2 pins; the V1 config's gpio23/24/25 silently does nothing on this board.
