Tools and consumables

  • the laptop with PrusaSlicer 2.9.6
  • PLA, about 50 g

Parts:

Do:

  1. Expert mode: make the line below the Voron 2.4 350 start G-code.
  2. Voron filament presets, Chamber temperature Nominal / Minimal: PLA 35 / 0, PETG 40 / 0.
  3. ASA: Minimal a few degrees under your settled soak.
PRINT_START BED=[first_layer_bed_temperature] EXTRUDER=[first_layer_temperature] CHAMBER={chamber_minimal_temperature[initial_tool]} EXHAUST={chamber_temperature[initial_tool]} FILAMENT={filament_type[initial_tool]}

check Check

A PLA slice's start line ends CHAMBER=0 EXHAUST=35 FILAMENT=PLA, an ASA slice carries your Minimal as CHAMBER and FILAMENT=ASA, and neither has M141 or M191.

helperHelper Reads each Nominal and Minimal value back from the preset while the adult types.

What you're looking at

Each filament preset already has two chamber fields, Nominal and Minimal, which Prusa's Core One uses the same way: a ceiling its fans hold, and a warmth it waits for. The new start line passes both, so each filament sets its own.

Caution

CHAMBER used to be one number in the printer preset, shared by every filament. Raised for ASA, it would make a PLA print wait forever for heat it never makes. Minimal 0 now means no wait.

tip Tip

Prusa's own presets ship PLA 20, PETG 35 and ASA 55 / 40. Kept as they are, PLA just runs the fan more, and ASA stays unvented either way.
