Do:

1. Lay each COB mount pair on the granite reference and dry-fit the two halves by hand.
2. Check the Wago mount's heat-set bosses are crisp and round.

No rocking on the flat reference; halves close flush; bosses undamaged.

Good stopping point · ~15 min since the last one

every mount checked on the reference, brims snapped off, nothing assembled.
